FUN FUN FUN

This book picks up right where Sticky Notes Part 1 stopped. I loved it as much as part 1. A little more serious but still quite light hearted. Discovered I was correct about why this was going on but was totally blown away to find out who Miss Wazzu was. I highly recommend this book. It is very clean and so much fun.

Funny, yet tender book

I couldn't wait to read this and know how Katherine and Quinn would end up. The book is predictable, somewhat.... but I don't care about that AT ALL. I loved to see how the author worked their relationship and I smiled often throughout this book. Again, the grandmother is precious ! This book is delightful to read. I will recommend this book and this author to others !!

Throughout the book the authors indicate potential future developments in the manufacture of these important precursors and intermediates.
The reader frindly format seen in the previous editions is retained, wherein each chapter or subsection is provided with a chemical flow diagram illustrating the interrelationship of the products, these flow diagrams folding aut such that they can be constantly referred to whilst reading the text. In addition, the main text is accompained by a synopsis in the margin, which concisely presents all of the essential points, thus facilitating browsing. About the Author
Professor Hans-J?rgen Arpe studied chemistry at the Christian-Albert-University in Kiel, Germany and where he also received his PhD under guidance of Professor R. Grewe. Hans-J?rgen Arpe commenced his career at the Koninklijke/ Shell-Laboratory in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He then moved to the Shell Research Laboratories near Bonn, Germany, followed by his appoint as Head of the Research Department Aliphatic Intermediates at Hoechst AG, Frankfurt, Germany and Head of the scientific library of Hoechst AG. Professor Arpe was an Honorary Professor at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen, Germany.

A lucid, beautiful novel with a sincere and sarcastic tone

Solal is the son of the chief rabbi of Cephalonia. He is on his way to become a highly recognised diplomat for the United Nations. He then falls for a sweet and beautiful French catholic girl, just on the eve of WWII. They get together, passionate, ignorant of their families' disapprovals. But the growing antisemitism affects Solal's love and behaviour, and he becomes sarcastic, irritable and guilty, in spite of Aurore's efforts to keep their love alive.This is written in a beautiful, original style by a wonderful and sincere author who deserve international recognition. His tone gets you to the insights of human brain, which he analyzes with an incredible lucidity. Read it !

A very good instruction manual

This book describes in clear detail how to properly bind a book for maximum durability. It includes details on case bindings (the easiest and weakest), library bindings (one of the strongest), flexible and sunk-cord bindings (traditional), and limp bindings. Although the author makes much about having the right tools, his descriptions are clear enough that one can improvise. With this book, I was able to make a book from paper, boards, and leather that came out quite well on my first try.

A "Must Have" Book for the Serious Bookbinder

Of the many popular books in print today on bookbinding, this one is by far the most comprehensive. It reads like a graduate level textbook and must be studied carefully; it isn't conducive to casual reading. Many of the sentences are difficult to understand and must be thought about for awhile to figure out. Nevertheless, I wouldn't want to undertake a new step in the binding process without first reading what this book has to say. I strongly recommend it for the serious student of bookbinding.

Superb reference book

This book definitely is not for a beginning bookbinder. It is, however, a superb reference book. It discusses, in detail, a vast number of topics -- some not discussed by many other books on the subject -- in a very readable style. This is one of the most useful, and most referred to, books on bookbinding that I own.
